10BedICU Project sets up 10-bed ICUs in government hospitals using the CARE technology platform, standard clinical ICU protocols, and trained staff. We partner with state governments to deliver high-quality critical care in underserved areas across India.
The 10BedICU project began in March 2021, following the Covid-19 delta wave in India, to provide critical care ICU infrastructure in rural and smaller government hospitals. To date, over 200 10BedICUs have been established in 10 states. In this public-private partnership, the State government provides hospital space, medical staff, supplies, utilities, and signs an MoU to manage operating costs, wherein 10BedICU covers the capital expenditure by supplying ICU equipment, CARE software, TeleICU technology, Training, and Community support.
