Jharkhand

Jharkhand is a state in eastern India. It's known for its waterfalls, the elegant Jain temples of Parasnath Hill and the elephants and tigers of Betla National Park. The state is predominantly tribal, with around 26% of its population belonging to various Scheduled Tribes, and it boasts a diverse culture with numerous festivals, music, and dance forms. As per the 2011 Census, Jharkhand has a population of approximately 32.96 million. The state has a literacy rate of about 66.41%, with significant efforts being made to improve education and health facilities. The capital city, Ranchi, serves as an administrative and cultural hub, while the state's landscape features lush forests, hills, and rivers, contributing to its ecological significance. Jharkhand continues to develop while striving to balance industrial growth with the welfare of its indigenous communities.
